So this afternoon, a girl felt like hitting my car when we were BOTH at a COMPLETE STOP in West Boylston (right next to CVS and an Auto rental place). Evil  A link below will send you to my Facebook Photo Album of the damage.  I am ok, and will have a rental when I go down to the International Day.

Let us take a moment and hope that my car will be fixed well and that I don't have to pay for anything that was done to my car!

She was probably tired of just killing the planet with her SUV, so she tried to get you too!

It wasn't her SUV! She was not supposed to drive it.  It was her Boyfriend's friend's Land Rover...all it got was a couple scrapes on the front bumper! Angry

 Sad awww.

Was it an auto rental place right on the Worcester city line?

Funny, I remember getting into an accident RIGHT THERE!

I wasn't driving - either car. But I never got in my friend's car again. He was under the impression that he knew how to drive stick. As long as the jerkiest ride and stalling out counts. Cheesy

I hope Herbert can get fixed for free!

The damage you see is from us both being stopped and she pressing the gas and going into my car's rear end...

It's probably over $1000 worth of damage.  Whole rear bumper needs to be replaced, the tailgate is dented severely, and the tailgate won't close.  I'll let you know what they are replacing/how much it's going to be costing the insurance companies.  I am going to Kilcoyne on W.B. St. right next to Wendy's.  They fixed my car before, they are a preferred auto body shop with Commerce, and right down the street from my (and your) house, so that's why I chose them.

$3 worth of duct tape should fix that.   Tongue

Hopefully, after the repair, Herbert will be as good as new.  Can you send that girl my way?  I've been waiting for someone to dent my rear bumper so I can get a new one.

So I got the paperwork back from the Appraisal office...damage is $2,021...

Because it is over $2000, her insurance will go up 4 steps.  Suits her right for hurting Herbert! Angry

I'm not sure why the limit is $2000 anymore, it's not like that's a very large value (12.5% of a $16000 car) And you can do that amount of damage just by looking at a car funny.

Wow...that's harsh.  I didn't know you could get surcharge points for driving while French.  Or is that French driving?
