That would be cool!  Do mens' hair have to be that long too?

Everyone's has to be that long.  Louis has been doing a project of his hair length (www.repealofgravity.com/blog has all the pictures).  Mine is now at the middle of my back and I think by the summer (or close to it) will be close to cutting it off.  I had debated whether or not to shave my head (it's just hair, right?) and I think the debate to do it won.  There is a thing called St. Baldricks Day (where they shave your head for you) but you have to raise money and I hate asking people for money.  So to show solidarity I've decided to do it on my own.

I just hope it's not like that Seinfeld episode and some of it refuses to grow back.  Cheesy

Louis is also shaving his head but his reasoning is to get to the required length.

I did it!

I don't know how to post pictures but I think that you can see it in my facebook page. Here's the results

The total weight of hair that is on it's way to wigsforkids is about 5oz.  doesn't seem like a lot but it sure feels different.

My niece is 8 years old and she has been donating to locks of love for a while now also.  Its strange to see someone so young that enjoys giving as much as she does (dont even think about twisting that around Troll! lol).  Anyways She grows it out and cuts it and donates it before summer time usually.

Louis is a bit nervous but he likes rubbing my head now.  The hair cutting lady was a bit nervous about the whole thing "It's only 1/4"".  It's nice.  Now I'll use less shampoo. Cheesy
