If you book at Attitash, you're pretty close to most of the event!

You should phone - they've blocked off rooms for MINIsOnTop specifically, so mention that when you call

Lisa and I are psyched about attending our 1st MOT event, hopefully we won't forget like we did with the Firefly's event, man was I disappointed. Look forward to meeting the MMC crew. Is there a rally point where we all drive up together?

TheStig - Go to www.minisontop.comYou need to register for the event ahead of time (should be available for download in a month or so... you need to mail it in) And yes! There is a caravan of MINIs to the top!

Can someone explain a MOT noob a few things:
the event seems to be friday+saturday when is the mountain climb? friday even/night? sat? i.e. what is the hotel intended for -- so you get there, sleep and do stuff in the early morning, or rather do something fri eve/night and then not have to drive home?
I understand there are other events too yes?

The mountain climb is Saturday evening but generally there are activities on Friday night as well. There is a meet with boot sale and sometimes other activities Saturday morning at Loon Mountain (last year they actually started with a breakfast at the hotel and they had a slow-driving competition at Loon). After leaving Loon there are various drives you can go on. We meet at the Mountain around 5 (I think - after 6 times you would think I would remember ) where there is a dinner and the raffles are drawn. After the drive to the top there is some type of event back at the hotel. Then Sunday morning we leave.

If I don't find my own ride up the mountain, you're free to try it with me again. Only this time, we'll make it to the top, (pending any last minute tire mishaps that force me to take the clubbie again like last year). Then again, last year was my first time as a passenger, and I loved it. The driver really doesn't get a chance to look around, which is kind of a waste.

Given what you say there, sounds like (considering I might be taking my wife and 2-y/o daughter with me!) w/out knowing every detail, the safe thing is to take a hotel night for Saturday night... and watch what events get planned and where on Fri nite/Sat morning then. Anyone here have experience taking their kids?

Of course! I still can't listen to that song without thinking of you guys going up the mountain. I think it was Mount Washington singing it to all the other mountains, really. :-)

Thanks dude! If not, I can always squeeze in the back of someone's Mini also. Did that last year. This time I am planning way ahead of time...not like the same day as last year happened ... don't need any of you guys' heckling for me to come up the day of.
