MINIsOnTop 2010

www.MinisOnTop.com
"Mark your calendars … we’re going back up and doing it all again next year! June – 25th/26th, 2010.
The Attitash Grand Summit Hotel will again host us, and of course we’ll be heading up the Mount Washington Auto Road as well."

Yeah, it might seem early with June still 5-months away, but the above is posted to the MINIsOnTop web site and those who have been before know how quickly the rooms book up!! Those who have never been, this is the event for the summer, so reserve your room now. Registration for the event usually opens soon as well and we will post this once it has been announced. However for now I figured I would get this ball rolling so we can all start thinking of warmer weather Thumbs Up! Grin Thumbs Up!

Standard Room: $119.00 a night. One night deposit required up front at Attitash. It was a great place last year!!!!
http://www.attitash.com/grandsummit.html

 Thumbs Up! Thumbs Up!

Also, Richard and Sarah have taken over the duties of MOT organization. Theo, Michael and Ian have stepped down after many years of fantastic work!! Congrats Richard and Sarah and thank you Theo, Michael and Ian for the great job you all have done organizing MOT and the charities it has supported over the years. You guys were awesome!! Thumbs Up! Thumbs Up!  Richard and Sarah have some very big shoes to fill, but we are sure they will do great!  Thumbs Up! Thumbs Up!

You know you're working 5 months from now?  No way you can change it up with that much advance notice?

In order to get our schedule....7 days on 7 off, we gave up personal days, etc...so very little flexibility. We bid vacation weeks..2 periods per year up to 14 months before we actually take them.....kinda sucks for weddings and stuff. Unless somebody in my intimidate family dies...I usually miss an event unless I'm lucky enough to have it off!! But at a 50% chance....of being around...it not so bad.
I might be able to work out a schedule swap...but that is a long shot....

Yeah, we always had to bid in for vacations a year in advance because they were dished out according to seniority....the higher up on the totem pole the more apt you were to have summer time vacations....

7 on 7 off !  That's sweeeet !  You could have another full time job.

I had 5/2, 5/3 and that would repeat itself.  But we gave up a pay raise......

I think you just don't like being up that high unless you have wings under your butt Smiley

If I attend, it'll likely be MINI-less; I don't see me having time to drive GPMINI up from Florida again this year. But I guess if we let Steve come in a Subaru, then maybe I'm allowed in an Audi! Wink

This will be our 7th.  That's funny about the Subaru I forgot about that.  He didn't last very long with that car though.  Does he still have a MINI?

Yes, I think so ... at least, he hasn't said anything if not. Or maybe he traded it for the Babe car!
